Elizabeth Alice (James) Faulkner

Elizabeth Alice (James) Faulkner, age 85 of Jackson, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family.  She was born on September 25, 1938, in Griffin, Georgia, to Eldridge and Dorothy James. Alice was a kind and generous soul, that was always willing to lend a helping hand and give to anyone that was in need. She was fiercely devoted to her family, and nothing made her happier than to be with and spend time with her loving family. Alice was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling to new places and was a huge fan of The Atlanta Braves. Alice was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in McDonough, sang in the choir and was the church secretary of over 30 years. She was loved by all that knew her and will be sorely missed. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Dorothy James, and her loving husband, Leslie. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, June Lackey, Kathy Simmons, Dennis Faulkner, and Juanita (Blue) Mills. Her grandchildren, Sherry, Bradley, Stephanie, April, Clay, Robyn, Caleb, Camber, and Jessica. 13 great grandchildren, 2 great, great, grandchildren, her siblings, Carolyn Bankston, and Dorothy Bobo, as well as a host of other loving family and friends.
