Music by The Piano Brothers

On Thursday January 14th 2021, the Heavens were getting a little dim, so God called his brightest star home to be with Him. Diana Cabrera was called home at the age of 52 leaving behind her Parents, Husband, three Children, eight Grandchildren, and one Great Grandchild. Diana had been a loving mother from a very young age and her children were her motivation that pushed her to get her GED and start working at a large corporation as a Bookkeeper. There, she continued to learn and strive for more in her 18-year career until she became a Regional Supply Chain Manager despite her not having a college education, something that is achieved by very few. She found happiness in the simple things in life such as her morning and afternoon cups of coffee, her Stephen King novels, celebrating the holidays, and spending time with her family which brought her more joy than anything. After years of watching her parents host the family at their house for the holidays, Diana started a tradition of her own for her children and grandchildren of gathering at her house for any reason that they could think of whether it was a birthday, graduation, or just because. She wanted nothing more than for her family to be together and to enjoy each other’s company and the smile on her face as each person came through the door is something that will always be remembered. She was absolutely the most kind and selfless person anyone could hope to know. She took care of everything in her home from cooking the meals to finding her husband’s lost phone and never complained about anything. She was the person whom all of her children called almost daily to vent to, seek advice from, or just talk about the day-to-day activities with. She cherished her parents and had her own special relationship with them both and it made her so happy to share a funny meme with her Dad on Facebook or go to Bible study with her Mom. She shared a dream with her Husband of living in Panama City Beach Florida in a little place of their own near the beach. They would visit this area every year, twice a year if they could, and talk about how their mornings would be drinking coffee on their future beachfront patio. There is so much that can be said about this special woman who was taken from this world entirely too soon. She impacted so many people with her humor and infectious smile and its certain that our lives will not be the same without her. She will be forever in our hearts and memories as we carry on the traditions and values that she taught us.
