I just read this a couple of days ago in a "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book and thought of Mark.  When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.  Thank you Mark for treasures of all the memories.  Love, Sharon

Diana, Erin, and Austin, we want to express our heart-felt condolences to your family. Mark was an incredible husband, father, friend, teammate, uncle, and brother-in-law. One of his many endearing qualities was that he was always there to support his, family, friends, and even those he did not know. May our Lord, bring you peace and comfort knowing he is with our Lord smiling down upon you saying, "I love you." God bless you always, Uncle Mike, Aunt Wendy, Taylor, Casey & Kolbi Gonzales

Mark had a big heart and was a compassionate individual. Mark was a devoted husband to my sister, Diana, and a remarkable father to my niece, Erin and my nephew Austin.  I know it is a tremendous and heartbreaking loss for you but holding on to all the memories you have of him will comfort you during this most difficult time.  I am extremely heartbroken that Mark is no longer with us but his spirit will always linger with me. I had countless interactions with Mark that I will always remember and reminisce.  Rest in peace Gentle Giant!  It was truly a blessing to have you come into our lives!!  I love you sister, Erin and Austin.

Diana, Erin, and Austin always remember Mark was a good man, he loved you. As long as we have memories of him, he will never be forgotten. Mark and I did not talk to each other much the last few years but, I DUO him on December 11 and had a nice conversation. Afterwards, I thought I'm going to start DUOing him. I did not know that was the last time I would ever talk to Him. Thank Diana for sending the daily hospital updates. They were hard to read, but helpful. I know that Mark is now within the circle of God's loving arms.

I worked with Mark the last 16 years of my career.  He was truly a joy to work with, to joke and laugh with, to simply be around.  We traded stories of our children, marveled at their accomplishments, and admitted to one another the joy of being involved with our children and guiding them.
He enjoyed his work and performed it with precision and pleasure.  Always happy to assist, he was one who could be completely trusted to accomplish the task at hand.  He made the work enjoyable.
I know he will be missed by all who knew him, particularly his family, because Mark was first and foremost a family man who loved his family.
My sincere condolences.
