Anson Lee Edwards, 26, of Mansfield, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly, on February 11, 2026. He was born November 20, 1999, in Conyers, Georgia, to Clint Edwards and Rene Plunkett.
Life and Character
Anson was a one-of-a-kind young man whose light shone brightly in this world. He was kind, compassionate, and always ready to lend a helping hand. When he walked into a room, his smile lit up everyone there — a true Southern gentleman with an infectious sense of humor.
He loved country music, cherished his El Camino, and enjoyed tinkering; he could fix just about anything. Above all, Anson shared an extremely close bond with his beloved sister Abby — they were two peas in a pod and inseparable.
Family
Anson is predeceased by his grandparents Henry Plunkett and Deborah Plunkett.
He is survived by his father Clint Edwards, his mother Rene Plunkett, and his siblings Megan Jackson, Abby Edwards, and Sean Edwards, his niece Zoey Jackson. His grandmother Joann Gaines. He also leaves behind his uncle’s Jimmy Plunkett, Jessie Plunkett, and Andy Plunkett, along with a host of other beloved family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
