Arletta Johnson

Arletta Smith Johnson age 95 of Covington, Georgia passed away on March 31, 2019, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on May 20, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Wilhemia Smith. Arletta was steadfast in her faith, as a Jehovah’s Witness and was always willing to help others in need. She loved to garden and travel, but her true passion, was her devotion to her family. Arletta was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband John Johnson Jr., she was an adoring mother to her seven children; Juanita Harris, Reginald Stanfield, Ralph Johnson, Phillip Johnson (deceased), Karen Allen, Barry Johnson and Donna Baines. A doting grandmother to her grandchildren; Rome Harris, Dana Harris, Kara Harris, Dionne Stanfield, Nikki Wise, Shanee Richardson, Sharee Johnson, Rachelle Riley, Brandon Turner, Jordan Allen, Joshua Allen, Asia Moreland, Nicole Johnson, Barry Johnson Jr., Quincy Reynolds, as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.
