Barnett (Sr.) Bass

Barnett Bass Sr., age 83 of Conyers, Georgia, passed away January 13, 2022. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to Bill and Lucille Bass. "Poppy" as he was known by family served in the United States Air Force and was a true American Patriot. He was a lifelong mason and a Shriner. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emily Rose Williams Bass, his daughter Sarah Lynn of Leland and his granddaughter Shannon: his son Barnett Bass Jr. (Gina) and his grandson Slade Bass and his fiancé Kai, his aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other beloved family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Shawn Winkler. Mr. Bass Sr. will always be remembered as a great conversationalist and his love for old classic movies. Services for Mr. Bass Sr. are to be announced at a later date.
