Bobbie Sue (Dinsmore) Schmidt

Mrs. Bobbie Sue (Dinsmore) Schmidt age 86 of Conyers, Georgia was called to the Lord on December 23, 2019. She was born in Alpharetta, Georgia on January 6, 1933 to Ernest and Clara Mae Dinsmore. Bobbie was a kind and gentle soul, who never met a stranger. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St Pius X Catholic Church for several years and made countless visits to the homes of poor and needy families to determine how St. Vincent de Paul Society could provide them the help they needed.

She was very devoted to her family and her family loved her immensely and placed her on a pedestal and recognized her as the glue that held them together.  Between the love she had for people and her sense of humor she leaves behind many good friends.  She loved the holidays and had an enormous collection of decorations for fall Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also enjoyed traveling with family members to New England in the fall. Bobbie is survived by her loving husband Pete, her adoring children; sons Michael, (Spouse Darlene Gordie), Daniel; daughters Michelle Darnell (spouse Randy Darnell) and Melonie Kraning,  her devoted grandchildren; Taylor and Tyler Darnell, Corey Haynes (Spouse Greg Haynes), Brittany Durden (Spouse Cody Durden), Joey and Jimmy Gordie;  and her precious great grandchildren; Sophia and Gabriel Haynes, and Jaylynn Mims. as well as a host of other loving family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2621 Hwy 20 SE, Conyers, GA at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.
