Donna Jean Casorio

On September 17th, 2022 Donna Jean Casorio (66) peacefully left her body while surrounded by her daughters and held in the hearts of family and friends. Donna truly knew how to walk the road of life with a heart of gold and a spirit full of compassion. Family was always her main priority and she loved them fiercely; including her sisters Jeannie, Janet, and Kathy. She touched the heart of every human that she met, and ingrained kindness and integrity into her two beloved daughters Nicole Casorio and Melissa Casorio. Donna’s grandson, Aiden Christian, was the light and pride of her life and she cherished every second that she spent with him. He will always carry her light inside of him. Aside from her love for family, Donna was a proud native Bostonian who never lost her love of New England despite living in Georgia. She loved curling up with a cup of tea and a good book as well as spoiling her grand-dogs as often as she could. Donna is survived by her daughters Melissa Casorio and Nicole Casorio, her daughter in law Linda Sullivan, her grandson Aiden Christian, and her sisters Jeannie, Janet, and Kathy. Donna was preceded in death by her parents William and Dorothy Powers and the love of her life, Richard Paul Casorio. We know and find comfort in the fact that she is being deeply embraced by Richard and will forever be our guardian angel. 
A small graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23 at 2:00 pm at Honey Creek Woodlands to celebrate the life of Donna Casorio. Please dress casual as the service is
in a nature preserve. Because it is a green burial only natural cut flowers are permitted. In lieu of flowers the family is asking to make a donation to Honey Creek Woodlands and their nature preserve.
