Doris Dianne Hicks Adams

Doris Dianne Hicks Adams, age 79, of Newborn, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2022, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on August 24, 1942, in Covington, Georgia to the late Dewey and Doris Hicks. Dianne was a kind and gentle woman, that loved Jesus and loved her family. She loved to spend time in her garden, where she grew that most amazing flowers. She was an avid quilter and passed this passion onto her daughter. Dianne taught Sunday school for many years at Shiloh Baptist Church, in Newborn, Georgia. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. Dianne is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gary Savage. She is survived by her loving husband; Hulon, her beloved daughters; Melanie (Danny) Bolt, Donna Owenby, Stepsons; Gary (Peggy) Adams and Rick Adams. Her precious grandchildren; Taylor Owenby and Sam Wolaver and her siblings; Charlene Gwin and John Hicks. We respectfully ask, that if you are feeling sick or sick, that you do not attend the service and if you attend, the service, please wear a mask.
