Our beloved Elnora Williams-Hall passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022 at the age of 85. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Clarence Williams and Harriett Green on February 12, 1931 and was raised proudly by her mother and family.
She was a graduate of Matthew W. Gilbert High School in 1955,and was passionate about teaching and nursing at the time. After graduation, she pursued and successfully received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Edward Waters College, but her ambition did not stop there. She also pursued more education and post-secondary credits from Florida A&M and Bethune Cookman College.
Elnora was an earnest healthcare and nursing professional. In addition to her accomplished career, she was an avid lover of fine arts and movies. Susie Q was such a dear friend to many and a force to be reckoned with. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her seven children, Felix Alphonso Smith, Darlene Hall, Kevin Pollock-Hall, Lajuana Bostick, Joseph Phillips Jr., and Evette Phillips, her loving grandchildren, sweet great-grandchildren, and an abundance of friends. Services will be held on April 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at a location to be announced.
