Emily Rose (Williams) Bass

Emily Williams Bass was born on January 23, 1936, to Erwin and Lula Williams, of Lumberton, North Carolina. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, Barnett Bass Sr., her brothers, Erwin Jr. and Tolley; her sister Lula Williams, all of Lumberton, North Carolina. Her grandson Shawn Winkler, of Wilmington, North Carolina. She is survived by her son Barnett Bass Jr. and his wife Gina; her grandson, Slade (Kai) and great grandson Onyx; her daughter Sarah Winkler, and granddaughter Shannon. Emma taught school for 32 years and loved and cared for all of her students. She was known for her kindness and quick wit and was cherished by all of her family and friends.
