Gaylen Francis Rider

Mr. Gaylen F. “Gramps” Rider, age 82, of Oxford, Georgia, passed away from cancer on October 4th, 2023. His life began on August 24, 1941, in Ohio, to the late William and Delores Rider. Him and his beloved wife relocated to Georgia and lived a happy life raising their children. He retired after a successful career of 21 years and spent the rest of his days doting on his grandchildren. Mr. Rider was the kindest, most giving soul. He always did what was right and was an outstanding citizen. Most people aspire for greatest, he achieved it. His legacy is one of strength, kindness, and grace. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife and beloved grandson and leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a loving host of other family and friends.
