Henry Taylor Obituary

Henry Alexander Taylor, age 6, of Covington, Georgia, passed away on March 16, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family. Though his time on earth was far too short, Henry filled every day with joy, curiosity, and a light that touched everyone who knew him.

Born with an adventurous spirit, Henry loved being outdoors—gardening with his family, digging in the yard, skipping through the grass, and throwing rocks into the river. He found magic in the simplest moments and approached the world with wide‑eyed wonder. He adored Spider‑Man, transformers, anything Star Wars, and could spend hours exploring experiments that fed his love for science and math. As an honorary police officer, he took his job very seriously, making sure daddy never went above the speed limit.

Henry cherished time with his big, close‑knit family, especially during Christmas and birthdays, which were always celebrated with excitement and love. He enjoyed Mommy’s cooking, especially hot chocolate, and cake pops from Starbucks. Henry loved playing outside on his jungle gym and trampoline, and diving into video games with enthusiasm. His favorite meal was spaghetti with cheesy bread, a comfort he never turned down.

Animals held a special place in Henry’s heart. He loved his dog, Daisy, and his two cats, Saber Tooth and Gittens, who were constant companions in his world of play and imagination.

Henry bravely fought childhood cancer. He faced his battle with incredible courage. Even when his body was tired, Henry continued to show the world what true bravery looked like. His resilience, smile, and determination inspired not only those closest to him, but thousands of people who followed and supported his journey.

Henry loved Jesus deeply, and his family takes comfort in the words of Matthew 19:14:

"Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Though his time here was far too short, the impact Henry made will last forever. Heroes like Henry may leave this world, but they never leave the hearts they have changed forever.

He is survived by his parents, Cody and Maria Taylor, his big brother Brantley, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other loving family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Henry’s life was beautifully lived. His laughter, his curiosity, and his boundless love will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
