James Benjamin Cheek

Mr. James Benjamin Cheek, age 46, of Covington, Georgia, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on November 25, 2025. He was born on August 24, 1979, in Covington, Georgia to the late John and Donnis Cheek. “James Earl and Tony”, as he was more commonly known, was a kind and giving man, that was always willing to help those in need. He was a man of steadfast faith, and knew that no matter what the situation was, Jesus would work it out. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and You Tube Shorts. He was the family comedian and was constantly telling jokes and pulling pranks on others. He was happiest when eating chicken and dumplings with fried okra, while spending time with his beloved family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, their three children, his three grandchildren, his three siblings, as well as a host of other loving family and friends. Services for Mr. Cheek are to be announced, once they are finalized.
