Janie Lois (Dick) Sterling

Janie Lois (Dick) Sterling, age 84, of Covington, Georgia, passed away on May 6, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on January 17, 1940, in Conyers, Georgia, to the late Robert and Flossie Dick. Janie was a kind and gentle woman, that had a great love and devotion to her family. One would often find her cheering on her great grandchildren at their baseball games or engulfing herself in the tender earth of the garden. Janie was an accomplished seamstress and made beautiful dresses for her great granddaughters. She was an avid cook and could often be found in the kitchen with her great grandchildren, teaching them how to cook. Janie was loved deeply and will sorely missed by all that knew and loved her. Janie is predeceased by her parents, her children, a sister and a brother and she leaves behind to cherish her memory, her siblings, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members.
