Jean Dube Herrero passed away at her home on April 14, 2018 in Covington, Ga. with her family at her bedside. She was born in Worcester Massachusetts on January 14,1934. She was the daughter of Georgianna and Albert Dube.
She graduated from high school and the Jackson Memorial School of Nursing in Miami Florida. In 1955 she married the love of her life, Louis A. Herrero. For a marriage of 63 wonderful years.
She was truly a Renaissance Women . She was known for pursuing, philosophical, artistic and scientific interests.
Jean authored a novel, won a national prize for a stage play, wrote children’s stories, numerous newspaper articles on her travels and local events, was an avid beach comber and had a passion for new adventures and traveled extensively, throughout much of her life.
She was fluent in Spanish, Arabic, and French. She had interests as a nurse, real estate agent, marketing director, fundraiser, tour guide for the hospitals on her husband’s overseas assignments. Jean loved, singing and writing and was an active member of the Reynolds chorus and Greensboro Writers Guild.
Jeanne will be remembered for her sunny smile, always choosing to be happy and lifting up those around her. What you saw is what you got.

Jean leaves behind her husband of 63 years Louis Herrero, daughter Sherri-Dawn Hutchison (and husband Clyde Hutchison), 2 grand children; Stacie Renee Hutchison Pursell (and husband Jared), Brent Douglas Hutchison and (and wife Nina).
6 great grand children: Alexandria Dawn Pursell, Avery Jackson Pursell, Abigail Jane Pursell, Mason Luke Hutchison, Madison Alexis Williams, Megan Elise Williams, her brother Dr. Raymond Dube DDS (and wife Brigitte), her sister Shirley Moslo, nieces Sharon Adams, Rebecca Moslo and Karen Dube, nephew Raymond Dube Jr., great nephew Brandon Adams and great niece Brooke Adams.
