Joe Lee Brock

Mr. Joe Lee Brock of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away at the age of 83 on June 24, 2022. He was born on November 15, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Lee Francis and Willoease Brock. Joe was a man of humble beginnings and was determined to leave his mark on the world. At a young age, he started working at the famous The Varsity in Atlanta. As soon as he was able, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served his country with honor. He was a consummate Jarhead, volunteering and completing multiple tours in Vietnam before retiring as a Master Sergeant at Drill Instructor School in Parris Island, South Carolina. After retiring from the United States Marine Corps, he took his strong work ethic to Caterpillar where he also retired. Joe's favorite TV show as a kid was The Lone Ranger and he continued to thoroughly enjoy watching old Westerns throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. He leaves behind to honor his memory; his children, grandchildren, siblings and a host of other loving family and friends.
