Kathleen (Kathy) Marie Hess, lovingly known as “Grandgal”, of Covington, Georgia, passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 79, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on March 17, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Jack and Doris Glisman. Kathy raised six children on her own and always made sure that they had everything that they needed, family was extremely important to her. She was a kind and gentle soul, with a generous heart and would always make sure that you felt welcomed and loved in her home. Kathy was a great cook, enjoyed reading and love to take care of her beloved animals. Kathy is survived by her sister; Cherveny Cherille, her children Craig Denomme, Ronald Denomme, Kristina Denomme, Lisa Denomme, Kristi Klebba, and Kimberli Klebba; her grandchildren Brandon Denomme, Chloe Glass, Jeffery Glass, Nikki Hairell, and Layna Thompson, as well as several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hess, and granddaughter, Taylor Klebba.
