Obituary Kenneth Richard Massey

April 13, 1944 – May 28, 2025

Kenneth “Kenny” Massey, 81, of Conyers, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2025.   He was born April 13, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia, son of the late Claude “Sonny” Massey and Margaret Price, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Joy Massey, and a sister, Diane Price.

Survivors include his partner, Judy Stottle of Conyers, GA, siblings Janice Gaynes of Redman, WA, Gary Massey (Dari) of Canton, GA, Steve Massey (Catherine) of Douglasville, GA and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Massey served 8 years.  He remained active in various VFW units serving in many capacities over the years.  He was known for his ability to cook for large gatherings.  Also, he was instrumental in recent improvements to the Conyers VFW Post 5290.

Kenny was a remarkable individual known for his excellent salesmanship in the world of finance where he excelled in the mortgage business.

His always positive outlook and sense of humor made him a joy to be around.   His love for music was evident when he played the guitar and sang for family and friends.  Kenny was a loving, caring, and generous man who will be missed by those who knew him.
