Lewis Alexander Nance

Mr. Lewis Alexander Nance age 97 of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away on October 29, 2019. He was born on May 4, 1922 in Charlotte, North Carolina to John and Agnes Nance. Lewis served his country honorably in The United States Army, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. After his service to his country, Lewis became a purchasing agent for Sears and Roebuck. He married the love of his life, Helen and together they raised three wonderful children. Lewis always lived his life to the fullest everyday and was always a good example to others. He loved his church and his family. Lewis was and avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, gardening, cooking and took up golf after his retirement. Mr. Nance is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife and a son. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children and a host of other beloved family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday November 3, 2019 at 2:30 in the afternoon at Christ Fellowship of Stone Mountain. Mr. Nance will be laid to rest on Monday November 4, 2019 at 11:00 in the morning at The Honey Creek Woodlands, in Conyers, Georgia.
