Lillard Renae Thomas

Mr. Lillard “Nate” Thomas, of Snellville, GA passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the age of 65.

Nate was born on July 8, 1952 in Paducah, KY to the late (Charles L. Thomas) and Bobbie Nell Kelly-Thomas.

Nate attended South High School in1969. Nate had a passion for music that was unbelievable. He worked with a variety of different artists in Motown.

 In 1979, he married his wife, Rhonda Thomas.

 He was preceded in death by his brother George Calhoun.

Nate leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Rhonda Thomas, his mother: Bobbie Nell Kelly-Thomas, his children: Charles (Shanora) Atlanta Ga, Marlon Houston TX, Ochena (Anderson) Las Vegas, NV and Damyon (Nicole) Atlanta Ga, brothers Claud “Gene” , James, Darryl, Michel. One aunt: Virgie Evans of San Bernardino, Ca, and a special family friend: Nancy Dudley of Lagrange Ga. Along with his nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. As well as a host of family, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

There will be no viewing, however there will be a memorial celebration of his life on March 17, 2018 at the Sophisticated Gentlemen’s Club 1439 Eastern Ave in Grand Rapids, MI between the hours of 12 to 3 p.m. The distribution of his ashes will be in California shortly thereafter. The family is grateful for all the wishful thoughts and prayers, calls and condolences.
