Mamie Lou Kinard Reid, age 72, of Conyers, Georgia, passed away on March 21, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on June 23, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Jay and Victoria Kinard. Grand Mommie, as she was more commonly known, was a kind and beautiful soul, with a great big, generous, and giving heart. “Her home was always home”, and nothing in this world made her happier than to be surrounded by her precious family. Whether it be during the holidays, or just merely enjoying each other’s company, you would always feel the love that was shared in Grand Mommie’s home. Mamie enjoyed basking in the warm sunshine of the beach, delicious margaritas, and the lights of the casino. She was an avid reader, loved to watch Reba and developed her love of shoes, pocketbooks and jewelry from Sex and The City. Mamie was a big fan of The Atlanta Braves and The Georgia Bulldogs. She was a two-time Breast Cancer survivor and cherished each and every moment on this earth and lived every day to the fullest. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her loving husband, Terry Reid Sr., and she leaves behind to honor and cherish her memory, her son Terry Wayne Reid Jr., and his wife Yvonne. Her grandchildren, Nicholas (Shelby) Reid, Taylor Leatherwood, Cameron Reid (Brooke Sullivan), Savannah Reid (Brandon Bridenthal), Terrilyn Reid (Nathaniel Gonzalez), Bradley Reid (Lyla Tinsley), Sabrina (Clint) Price, Zachary (Tiffany) Seabolt, 11 Great Grandchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends. She is loved deeply and will be missed greatly. Services to be announced.
