Mary Jones

On Friday, December 30, 2022, Mary Jones, loving wife, stepmother, and sister, passed away peacefully, after a long battle with painful illnesses, at the age of 61. 

Mary was born on March 10, 1961, in Huntington Beach, CA to Charles Means and Marceil (Hulst) Rogers. She had several occupations, primarily as an administrative professional, and took so much pride in everything she did. On November 23, 1994, she married Steve Jones and gained a daughter, Heather (Jones) Milton. 

Mary never met a stranger and never forgot a name. She was one of the kindest people you would ever meet and she loved to laugh and dance. She loved her family and friends and she loved fiercely. 

Life was not always easy for her, but she never let that get her down and was always willing to share her story in the hopes it would help others. 

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Marceil, her father, Charles, and her brother, Tom. She is survived by her husband, Steve, her stepdaughter, Heather, her sisters, Cyndie, Tina, and Anne, and her many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2pm ET at Ellenwood Oaks Community Church – 1234 Panola Road, Ellenwood, GA 30294.
