Milton Dennis Harrison

Mr. Milton Dennis Harrison “Pops” age 60 of Social Circle, Georgia passed away on March 5, 2019, surrounded by his beloved family. He was born on September 17, 1958 in Duluth, Georgia to Milton and Gertrude Harrison. Milton was a hardworking, kind and generous man, that never met a stranger. He dedicated his life to, making sure his family and others were always made to feel welcome, taken care of and loved unconditionally. Milton was an exceptional guitar player, an avid Nascar fan, and he perfected the art of leaf blower motor boating, he absolutely loved any type of Western movie, but he loved John Wayne movies the most. The most special times in Milton’s life were spent with his family, whether it was building bonfires in the backyard, grilling hotdogs and hamburgers at Hard Labor Creek or making the world’s best homemade ice cream. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Milton is pre-deceased by his parents; Milton and Gertrude Harrison, his siblings; Marion and Ricky Harrison. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted siblings; Ray (Linda) Harrison, Ronnie (Cathy) Harrison. His beloved children; Dennis (Jenny) Harrison, Danny (Kristin) Harrison, Milton (Naomi Goforth) Harrison, Erica (Chris Gourley) Harrison, David Jones (Ashley Cobb), Greg Brightwell and Chloe Sneed. His precious grandchildren; C.J., Devin, Dennis, Jo Jo, Caleb, Savannah, Briana, Leah, Abriella, Weston, Colson, Mason, Makenna, Logan, Gracie, Isaiah, Jordan, Talon, LeBron, Leveon and Lina and one loving great grandchild; Remi, as well as a host of other adoring family and friends.
