Nancy (Blanchard) Stump, age 82, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on June 13, 2024. She was born on September 4, 1941, in Scranton, PA., to the late Paul and Emma Blanchard. Nancy was basically an Atlanta native, being that she moved to Atlanta, when she was two months old. She was raised in the Catholic Church and attended Catholic schools. Nancy was part of the first graduation class of St. Pius X high school in 1959. She married the love of her life, Thomas Stump, on September 4, 1971, which was also her birthday, and she and Thomas, celebrated 52 years of wedded bliss together. Nancy was a medical secretary for most of her working years, in various locations, such as Charlotte, NC., Augusta, GA, and Atlanta, GA., due to her husband’s work transfers. She was the Director of Admissions at St. Joseph Hospital in 1971, when St. Joseph’s Hospital was in Atlanta, Georgia. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her son Christopher, and six siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Thomas Stump, and a loving host of other family and friends. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Lilburn, Georgia.The mass will be live streamed at “https://sjnlilburn.com/online-masses”
