Paul “Rick” Shields, 64, of Henry County, passed away on Oct. 29th, 2018.
He was cremated, the family will have a Memorial Service at a future time. Burial will be at Honey Creek Woodlands in Conyers, GA. The family will send out notifications once a date has been determined.
Rick was born in Arizona to Howard and Virginia Shields on Christmas Eve 1953. He married Joann Torbush on Aug 9th, 1975 in Lithonia GA. He was an Army veteran serving as an MP at Fort Bragg. After an Honorable Discharge he worked as a truck driver and worked in road construction before retiring.
Rick is preceded in death by Parents Howard and Virginia Shields, Aunt Ruth and Uncle Titus, Grandparents, also a few Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Rick is survived by wife Joann, son Rickey and his wife Lyndy. Brothers Tim & Calvin and their respective wives Pat & Grace. Sisters-in-law Carol & husband Johnny, Debbie & husband Danny, Pat & husband John, Sandra (Sam), Diane, and Debbie. Grandchildren Dakota, Rylie, and Nathaniel. Several Cousins, Nieces & Nephews.
