Regina Fehrle Harrington

REGINA FEHRLE HARRINGTON, age 88, of Conyers, Georgia gained her angel wings on February 10, 2023. Regina was a loving and devoted mother, sister and friend and will be sorely missed by all those who were privileged to know and love her.
Born on February 15, 1934, in Stuttgart, Germany to Karl and Theresia (Romer) Fehrle. She was raised in Stuttgart and the Black Forest in Germany.
She married in Stuttgart, Germany and was married for 30 years to Col (Ret) Wayne Harrington. She traveled with him and their children in Europe and many places in the United States before
settling in Conyers, Georgia. She was a talented seamstress and spent many years making and altering wedding gowns and even sewed on movie sets for some well-known actors. She was an excellent cook and her German Potato Salad (Kartoffelsalat) and Sweet Bread were always in demand. One of her biggest pleasures was her garden and she spent many happy hours tending to both her vegetables and flowers.
She was raised Catholic and was a member of the St. Pius Church in Conyers, Georgia. She enjoyed visiting the Monastery of the Holy Spirit and often took her grandchildren there to feed the ducks.
Regina is survived by her children Thomas (Twila) Harrington, Charlotte Baker, Andrea Cano, Diana (Craig) Solyntjes, and Steven (Angie) Harrington; grandchildren: Melissa (Eric) Castellanos, Bridgette (Doug) Raybould, Tyrell (Marissa) Harrington, Karl Baker, Kyle Baker, Paige Cano and Holly (Parker) DuPont. She is also survived by her sisters Renate Cabrelli and Ingrid (Manfred) Braun and many great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents Karl and Theresia Fehrle and her sisters Elfriede Diemond and Doris Wells Vines.
She will be buried at Honey Creek Woodlands at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia. A service will be held at a later date. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to
