Rita Adams

Rita Chandler Adams, 79, passed away on August 13, 2022. She is survived by her long-time partner, David Dainty, her children, Joy Berardesco and Jim Harrison, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Henry Martin Seymour and Annette Adams, son, Jeff Harrison, sister, Annette Adams Walker, and brother, H.M. Seymour Adams, Jr.

Born on September 4, 1942, Rita grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Bass High School. She eventually made her way to Conyers where she resided for many years. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 12 years ago and bravely fought and won that battle. Sadly, the ovarian cancer returned and was untreatable. Rita will be remembered as a loving mother, partner and friend. She will be greatly missed.
