Scott David Turley

 On August 4, 2025, after a 10-year courageous battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, Scott David Turley, age 52, took his last breath and immediately entered the arms of Jesus. Scott was born to David Keller Turley and Phyllis Turley Lewis in Florida.
     Scott graduated from High School in 1991. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and then obtained a degree in Film and Video Production from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida in 2002. During his career he was called to ministry to serve as the Video/Media Director in churches for almost a decade. In 2012, Scott began working in the public education field where he was the Video Production Editor for the last 13 years. Video Production was a passion of Scott’s from a young age and using his gifts and talents became a fulfilling career.
     Scott was known as a gentle man by all who knew and loved him. Scott was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and rooted in his faith. Scott was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Scott is survived by his wife of 26 years, who lovingly cared for him during his 10-year cancer battle. His 4 children were his greatest pride and accomplishments and are the legacy he leaves behind. Scott’s spiritual guidance impacted his children and all of them have made professions of faith and who draw great life strengths from the Lord. Scott is also survived by his Father, David Keller Turley (Glenda) of Florida, his Mother, Phyllis Turley Lewis (Phillip) of Florida and his sister, Amy Turley Dunlap (Gabe) of Tennessee and their 3 children along with a large community of beloved family and friends.
     Scott is now healed and whole in the arms of His Savior. He fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7).

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held August 30, 2025 at 1PM. Visitation will be from 12-1PM.    In lieu of flowers a Go Fund Me account has been set up for Scott’s wife and 4 children.
