Steven Douglas Moore

   Steven Douglas Moore, 49 of Canton, Georgia entered into Heaven on July 23, 2020.

Steven was born in Cobb County Georgia to Bobby and Nancy Moore on September 30, 1970. 

 If you knew Steven, you know how his smile, charisma, and presence would bring light and laughter to every room that he walked in. One never had to guess what was on Steven's mind or how he felt about a situation. His bluntness and strong opinions were what made him the fellow that you wanted to ask a question if you wanted the raw truth.

  Steven was a heavy equipment operator and a good one. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with family and friends around a fishing hole, hunting camp, music and singing old country music, and of course, good food. Steven had a way of making everyone that he encountered feel that they belonged and that no matter what was taking place that it would be alright after while regardless of the circumstances. He wanted folks to feel welcome and at home. Steven was a grandson, son, a dad, an older brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, and a good friend to many. Although his life was cut short, he lived a full and well-traveled life that he expressed recently that he was so thankful for and knew that he was blessed to have been raised by a loving family and great friends. Steven was so incredibly grateful to have had a relationship with his beautiful daughter Elina and was so proud of the young lady that she has become and couldn't stop speaking of her beauty inside and out.

  Steven will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends, but we will forever remember the sound of his laughter, his humming, and that brilliant smile and will never hear a Country Boy Can Survive without thinking of him. 

 He would likely say to us, "Don't have a highspeed breakdown, it’ll be alright after while" and encourage us to love one another and to cherish our days together. 

Steven was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Faye Moore, Jack and Helen Bristol, and his mother Nancy Bristol Moore. 

Steven is survived by his father and stepmother Bobby and Terry Moore, daughter; Elina, siblings; Eric, Lori, Scot (Mishie), nieces and nephews: Erica, Reagan, Cole, Kylinn and Braylon, as well a host of other beloved family and friends.

The family is planning a Celebration of Steven's life, at a later date.
