Marilyn Yvonne Huling, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 31, 2022. Yvonne, or Grammies, as she was more commonly known, was born on August 30, 1935, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Luther and Elsie Watson. Yvonne was a kind and gentle woman, that generously shared her love with everyone she met and knew. She had an amazing knack for always remembering everyone’s special day. Whether it was a birthday, anniversary, or a holiday, she would take the time to hand write and send you a card filled with her endearing love and gratitude. Yvonne loved children and music and she shared her love of music with children, by teaching primary choir for the 4- and 5-year-old age group, for 30 years. She possessed a child like wonder when it came to animals, and one would often find her loving on any animal that crossed her path. Yvonne loved the beach, and nothing made her happier than walking along the ocean and admiring God’s great creations. Even though our hearts are saddened by the loss of such a loving and gentle woman, we are comforted knowing she is face to face with Jesus. She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her beloved husband Jerald, her loving children Kim (Rob) McMillan and Terri (Cary) Cooper, her precious grandchildren Brooks (April) McMillan, Micah (Stacy) McMillan, Ashley (Rob) Rohmiller, Katie (Corne) Van Straten, Sarah Bethany McMillan, Cameron Cooper, and Collin Cooper, as well as her 12 affectionate great grandchildren, and a host of other caring family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to: The Joni Eareckson Tada Ministries, by one of the following ways.
