Within 3 minutes of meeting Wendy she had my complete confidence that she knew what she was doing and that Daddy was in the best hands possible. It is obvious that this is a labor of love for her. She treated us with respect and kindness and I have no doubt that she treated Daddy the same way.
She also helped guide us through the business of death, what to expect with banks and probate and such, which took all the guess work and confusion out of things. Navigating these things is tricky at the best of times, and her knowledge gave us the confidence to know what had to happen now and what could wait while we grieve. She is truly a treasure.

Words simply cannot express my sincere gratitude to Wendy at Phoenix Funeral Services for the exceptional care she took in overseeing my father's funeral. At the time of my father's passing I was on the road to visit him, hoping to to at least have one last chance to hold his hand. Unfortunately, I learned of his passing while enroute. Before my arrival, my father's body had been sent to another funeral home. After speaking to that director on the phone, I was not impressed and distraught. On my way to meet with this other funeral home director, I googled other homes in the area and Phoenix Funeral Services was the first to pop up. After quickly scanning all the glowing 5 star reviews, I decided to call. It was close to 5 p.m. on a Saturday and I was drained emotionally and physcially and had not had time to really process the death of my father. Wendy picked up the phone and instantly calmed my heart as I described my dilemma through tears. She listened with an empathetic ear and not only eased my mind, but gave me advice as to what to say and ask the other funeral home. Once at the home my dad was initially taken, I quickly knew it was not a place I wanted to entrust to take care of my dad. The next morning I called Wendy and she assured me that all would be okay and she would go get my daddy and that she personally would take care of him. To make a long story short, she indeed followed through with her word! She went over and beyond to not only make sure my father had the respectful funeral he so deserved but she held my family's hands through each step of the process! Her experience, kindness and wisdom were worth gold! Her services were the fraction of what the other funeral home wanted to charge us and it was quite evident that Wendy cared more about the families that she served than the bottom line price! I tell people that God Himself led me to Wendy! She was my angel that sad day and again, I just can't thank her enough!

Losing a loved one is difficult but the necessary business has to be done. The staff at Phoenix Funeral Services made the process efficient and with care and respect. I trusted my husband's remains to them and knew he would be in good hands. Wendy Eidson was very helpful to me, especially her counsel about who all needs to be notified, how many death certificates will be needed, and the steps that are required to conclude the business of legalities. I'm grateful to this excellent company for handling my husband's remains and for guiding me through the process.
